Quality & TestingThree checks before you browse
These apply to any research-material documentation, including ours.
Match the lot
Compare the lot identifier on the material with the identifier on the associated report. A report for a different lot doesn’t describe the material in front of you.
Read the methods
Review which analytical methods were used and what each result describes. A method that isn’t listed on the report wasn’t reported.
Understand the limits
A purity result describes the sample that was tested. On its own, it does not establish safety, clinical suitability, or regulatory approval.
Common questions
What does “research use only” mean?
Research use only means a material is supplied for laboratory research. It is not intended for human or veterinary use, or for the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any condition.
GoVida Labs materials are sold on that basis, under the research-use agreement.
What does a certificate of analysis help me assess?
A certificate of analysis records the results of specific tests performed on a specific lot. It helps you assess whether the report matches the lot you’re reviewing, which methods were used, and what the results describe.
It does not, by itself, show that a material is safe or suitable for any purpose beyond the scope of the tests reported.
